AYAKO is an evaluation service rooted in a fusion of the ethos of a West African traditional marriage, systems engineering, and psychology. In essence this integration creates a powerful approach to fostering healthy and successful marriages by integrating the problem solving of systems engineering, the individual and relational insights of psychology, and the rich cultural wisdom of West African traditions. By blending these fields a matrix framework is created that addresses not only the individual psychological needs of partners but also the systemic dynamics of the relationship within the context of family culture and community.
Developed by Dr. Alabi Adesina (EDDCP), an Education and Counseling Psychologist, AYAKO offers structured insights into the current state of a marital union, helping COUPLES identify strengths and challenges using a six-function framework.
The goal is not to judge, but to guide — offering a mirror to your relationship through a professional, confidential, and culturally aware process.

The unresolved issues section described me better than any therapist ever has. I realized how past pain was affecting my current reactions. This changed everything.

AYAKO helped us pinpoint why our arguments never really got resolved. The conflict section was spot on — we were always competing, never collaborating. Now we’re more aware of how we communicate

I did this alone at first, just to see. I was so impressed I convinced my husband to do it too. Our combined report helped us have our first honest conversation in years.
